This British Standard relates to cylindrical parallel steel dowel pins used normally for the accurate location of components relative to each other.
Four grades are included:
Grade I | Precision ground parallel dowel pins; |
Grade II | Ground parallel dowel pins; |
Grades III and IV | Parallel dowel pins with progressively wider limits of tolerance. |
