Gives a procedure for the measurement of loss on ignition and also gives methods for the determination of silica, titania, alumina, ferric oxide, manganese oxide, chromium sesquioxide, lime, magnesia and alkalis in chrome ores, chrome magnesite refractories and magnesite chrome refractories. Phosphate will interfere with some of the determinations.
