Covers a procedure for the spectrometric determination of chromium (VI) in chrome-bearing refractories, before and after use. Also applicable to fired magnesia-chrome products, which contain natural chromite, fused grain or co-clinker) and to unfired materials, with refractory cement or chemical bonds, though it may not be restricted to these refractory types.
