This Part of BS 1932 describes methods for determination of the knot strength of specimens of yarn in each of which a single overhand knot has been tied and the loop strength of interlinked looped lengths of yarn.
The methods provide for determination of the strength of yarns both in equilibrium with the standard temperate atmosphere for testing and in the wet state.
