This British Standard specifies accuracy requirements for serrated circular gear shaving cutters having single or double cutting flanks designed for the production of crowned or uncrowned external and internal gears.
It is applicable to new or reground cutters in the range 1 to 8 normal metric module. It also gives a recommended bore size.
