Defines requirements of performance and test procedures for portable chemical closets. Covers only closets which may be used for the camping site, caravan sites and marinas, caravans and motor caravans, small boats, remote facilities without access to any other forms of drainage. Does not cover aircraft closet installations.

This standard specifies performance requirements and test methods for portable chemical closets.

It covers only those closets which may be used for the following applications:

1. camping sites, caravan sites and marinas;
2. caravans and motor caravans;
3. small boats;
4. remote facilities without access to other forms of drainage.

It does not cover closet installations in aircraft.
