Specifies requirements for bare and galvanized wire for spokes of 1.80 mm to 6.30 mm diameter inclusive including chemical composition, manufacture, tensile strength and zinc coating. Details of wire diameters and tolerances are given. Ductility is specified in terms of bend test and suitable machines for this test are illustrated in appendices.
