Lays down three methods for determining ash of polyamides. The general procedures in ISO 3451/1 are followed. For unfilled materials, method C of ISO 3451/1 is used. For filled and glass-fibre reinforced materials, method A of ISO 3451/1 is used. For flame-retardant materials reinforced with glass-fibre, a modification is incorporated to remove any antimony trioxide present. BS AMD 9149 RENUMBERS THIS STANDARD
