Provides a classification, construction, operation, safety requirements and tests for lighting appliances for domestic use with butane gas at 11 in. w.g. pressure. This gas is a mixture consisting predominantly of C four hydrocarbons with some C three and small amounts of C five. Distributors can supply gas whose combustion characteristics are always within limits prescribed by the test gases defined in Clause 29. Includes instructions and marking details, B.S. injector jet numbers for butane and propane gases and test for lighting efficiency. Illustrates mantle ring sizes, minimum dimensions of taper plug tap, general arrangement, nozzles, male and female thread type.
