Covers the application of photon correlation spectroscopy (PCS) to measuring of an average particle size and a measure of the broadness of the size distribution of particles dispersed in liquids. Applies to isotropic and spherically shaped particles ranging in size from a few nanometres to approximately 1 mu/m, or to the onset of sedimentation.
