Describes electric cooking ranges, separate stationary ovens, cooking tables and table cookers, and to electric ovens, hob assemblies, grills and griddles for building in, all for household use. Self cleaning ovens, including those of the pyrolytic type are within the scope of this standard. Appliances having parts supplied with gas, reference is made to the relevant safety requirements occurring in the European Standard EN 30. Excludes mains operated electric toys, and microwave cooking appliances. Details with regard to separate stationary grills and electric ignition devices are under consideration.
