Abstract - (Show below) - (Hide below)

Describes electrically operated commercial multi-purpose cooking pans. Does not apply to continuous process multi-purpose cooking pans for the mass production of food, deep fat fryers and appliances used in locations where special conditions prevail. In many countries additional requirements are specified by the national authorities responsible for health, water supplies and the protection of labour. Includes protection against electric shock, electrical insulation and leakage current at operating temperature, radio and television interference suppression, moisture resistance, overload protection, abnormal operation, mechanical strength, construction, provision for earthing, screws and connections, creepage distances, clearances and distances through insulation and radiation, toxicity and similar hazards.
