Describes a reference method and a routine method for determining the electrical resistance per unit length of metallic electrical resistance material. The reference method provides for an overall accuracy of 0.2 per cent and the routine method for an overall accuracy of 1 per cent in resistance per unit length on test specimens having a resistance of one milliohm or more.
