    This British Standard specifies the basic requirements relating to materials, dimensions, construction and electrical safety precautions of mobile infusion stands for use in hospitals and infusion poles for attachment to hospital beds and other equipment.

    NOTE Attention is drawn to BS4886-1 and BS4886-2.
