Abstract - (Show below) - (Hide below)

Concerned with sampling and testing of paints, varnishes and related products. Defines a test procedure for determination of the resistance of paint coatings to artificial weathering in apparatus which includes fluorescent UV lamps and condensation or water spray. Because of the lack of energy of visible and infra-red radiation in comparison to sunlight. The test piece is not heated above the surrounding air temperature which occurs in practical use.
