1.1 This British Standard specifies the requirements for the packaging and identification when packaged of vulcanized rubber materials, components and assemblies containing rubber components used for aerospace purposes unless amended by other contractual requirements.
1.2 The packaging specified not only ensures adequate identification of the components, but also forms an integral part of the controlled storage and inspection procedure (see British Standard F 68).
