A Temperature limits

Gives tests to evaluate the effects of temperature variations on components or equipment used in aircraft, but have limited application and should only be used in the relevant equipment specification when the thermal effects due to a change of temperature are significant to the operation of the equipment. Enables equipment manufacturers to demonstrate that their equipment - when exposed to changes of temperature - will continue to function, and/or survive. Details two test categories; temperature variations - for equipment likely to be subjected to gradual changes in atmospheric temperature, and thermal shock - for equipment likely to be subjected to rapid or instantaneous changes in atmospheric temperature.
