This Part of BS 4973 specifies requirements for woven sew-in interlinings which are suitable for uniform clothing for use in, for example, the public sector. Construction and performance requirements are given in Table 1. Appendix A gives recommended fabrics for various end uses.

Supplementary information for MOD contracts is given in Appendix B.
