Pressure/temperature ratings, materials, design, dimensions, operation, performance, testing and marking of lubricated and soft seated and lined valves having anti-static requirements. Short, regular and venturi pattern valves are covered in sizes up to DN 600 with pressure designations PN10, PN16 and PN25, also Class designations 125, 150, 250 and 300.

This British Standard specifies the requirements for valve seat and body pressure/temperature ratings and for the design, including materials, dimensions, operation, performance, testing and marking of lubricated, and soft seated and lined cast iron plug valves having anti-static requirements.

It applies to short, regular and venturi pattern valves. The range of valves covered by this standard is given in table 1 (see also clause 4).
