Range of nominal shank dimensions for pull and tail ends of internal broaches for use on broaching machines, vertical type, and dimensions for locating the pull chuck in the pull block. Gives constant dimensions between the top of the pull block and the platen surface. Particularly applies to automatic handling of broaching tools.

This standard specifies a range of nominal shank dimensions for both the pull and tail ends of internal broaches for use on broaching machines, vertical type.

The standard specifies certain dimensions for locating the pull chuck in the pull block of broaching machines, vertical internal type. The constant dimension between the top of the pull block and the platen surface is also given.

The standard is particularly applicable to automatic handling of broaching tools.
