This British Standard relates to the dimensions of 16-teeth intermittent sprockets, and 16-teeth, 24-teeth and 32-teeth feed and hold-back sprockets for 35 mm perforated film having perforations in accordance with Type P, N and AC of BS 5550-3.1.1. It specifies the essential dimensions for accurate engagement with the film, and gives recommended dimensions in respect of the form of the teeth.
NOTE The dimensions of sound-head sprockets are normally similar to those given in this standard for feed sprockets.
