    Covers electric and hydraulic lifts, and also observation lifts. Indicates information which should be exchanged between interested parties, and sequence of events from preliminary planning stage to handing over an installation. Guidance on procedure to be adopted in obtaining a lift installation which is satisfactory from the aspects of operation, safety and maintenance. Guidance is also given on co-operation between lift contractor and other trades in providing various service facilities.
