Abstract - (Show below) - (Hide below)

Sets out underlying theory, basic principles for sampling and preparation of samples and the basic requirements for the design, installation and operation of the sampling system for mechanical sampling preparation of samples, or combination of mechanical and manual sampling and preparation of samples, to be taken from a consignment of iron ore while being transferred to evaluate the quality of the consignment. The theory and principles are similar to those in ISO 3081 and ISO 3083.
