Test 16g deals with measurements of contact deformation after crimping and details a standard method of assessing the ability of contact to withstand crimping operations without deformation beyond specified limits. Test 16h for insulation grip effectiveness details a standard method of assessing the ability of an insulation grip to hold the insulation of a cable wire under specified conditions.
