    Defines minimum requirements for manufacturing, inspecting, testing and labelling of pressure-containing compressed air filter and lubricator moulded bowls, made in transparent polycarbonate. Intended for use at pressures of 10 bar or exceptionally at 16 bar.

    This British Standard specifies minimum requirements for the manufacture, inspection, testing and labelling of pressure-containing compressed air filter and lubricator bowls which are moulded in transparent polycarbonate.

    Components manufactured to this standard are suitable for use generally at pressures of 10 bar1) or exceptionally at 16 bar.

    Annex A provides guidance for the proper installation, use and maintenance of units which are fitted with bowls conforming to this specification.
