C. Equivalent circuits of an a.c. resistor

Specifies laboratory a.c resistors used over a range of frequencies from d.c up to a frequency less than 100 kHz. Designed to have a small variation of resistance and a small phase displacement over the stated frequency range. Classifies resistors as having a single or pair of terminals at each point of connection and according to the method of protection against externally produced electric fields. Resistors not having an electric screen, those having an electric screen permanently connected to one of the connection points and those having an electric screen not connected to the resistor terminals but which is provided with a separate or "guard" terminal.
