Gives methods for sampling, preparation and prior to testing binder pitch used in the manufacture of electrodes for the electrolytic production of aluminium. For grades of pitch in liquid or solid form, having softening points higher than 30 Degrees C in bulk, or in one batch in multi containers at sites of manufacture, storage, or delivery.
