Defines a procedure to determine the particle size distribution of a sample of coke which has a typical size distribution as normally produced by calcination of delayed petroleum coke. The same procedure can be applied to consignments of calcined anthracite. Not applicable to fractions or carbon material prepared by sieving and crushing or to filter fines.
