A glossary of terms associated with the textile industry with particular emphasis to fibres, yarns and processes.

This British Standard defines fabrics and associated fibres, yarns and processing terms in common usage. A glossary of silk terms which are not associated with the fabric construction terms in section 2 is included in Appendix A.
