Describes a dimethyglyoxime spectrophotometric method for determining nickel in steel and cast iron. Applicable to nickel contents between 0.10 and 4%. Cobalt, copper and manganese may cause interferences. Covers reference, principle, reagents, apparatus, sampling, procedure, expression of results, precision and test report.
