    Applies to grain oriented and non-oriented electrical sheet and strip for a.c. measurements of magnetic properties at frequencies to 400 Hz and d.c. magnetic measurements. Specifies general principles and technical details of measurement of magnetic properties of electrical steel sheet and strip using an Epstein frame. Applies to test specimens which have been obtained from electrical steel sheets and strips. Measurements should be made at an ambient temperature of (23 plus or minus 5) deg C on demagnetized test specimens. BS AMD 10038 RENUMBERS STANDARD
