This British Standard specifies requirements for nettings, made of fibre ropes or cords or of woven webbings, and for fibre rope lashings in load restraint systems for use in road, rail and water transport. This standard does not apply to webbing restraint assemblies which are covered in BS 5759, nor does it include requirements for anchorage points.
