This Part of BS 6513 gives terms and definitions which are applicable to wideband cabled distribution systems.
The application of these terms is illustrated in Figure 1.
NOTE 1 Terms that are not defined in this glossary but are used in other Parts of the standard are defined in BS 4727-3:Group 04 or in the appropriate International Radio Consultative Committee (CCIR) document. However, this standard uses the term “cabled distribution system?? instead of “wired distribution system?? as defined in BS 4727-3:Group 04.
