Gives European Standards for the evaluation of wood preservatives, to facilitate their use, assist the international exchange of views in this field and, in particular, to allow the extension of homologation between countries. Includes sections on field of application, general principles, selection of wood substrate for the products under test, treating the test specimens with the product under test, wood destroying organisms to which the products under test are submitted and artificial ageing of preservatives in wood.
