This British Standard describes methods for the determination of the proportions present in commonly encountered textile fibres (excluding inorganic fibres) of the following metals: antimony, arsenic, barium, cadmium, chromium, cobalt, copper, iron, lead, manganese, mercury, nickel and zinc. Methods are given for both soluble and total metals. This standard applies to textile materials in which the metal being determined constitutes not more than 0.1 % by mass of the material.

NOTE. The titles of the publications referred to in this standard are listed on the inside back cover.
