This subsection of BS6920 describes a method designed to assess the ability ofmulti-layeredhoses (including reinforcements) andpipesto impart a discernible odour or flavour to water intended for human consumption.
NOTE1 A modified test for use with hoses intended for use in conveying water for food and drink preparation is described in BS6920‑2.2.3.
NOTE2 Under the relevant National Regulations [1] to [7], the National Regulator may specify additional provisions in some cases and will assess the significance of the results obtained
