This section of BS6920 describes a method designed to assess the ability of a product to impart any noticeable colour or turbidity to water intended for human consumption. The method is applicable to all types of non-metallic product used in contact with water intended for human consumption.
NOTE Under the relevant National Regulations [1] to [7], the National Regulator may specify additional provisions in some cases and will assess the significance of the results obtained.
