Applies to steel pipes and flange joints for hydraulic purposes employing working fluids such as water and oil in sizes from 1 7/32 in to 5 1/2 in outside diameter, suitable for following design pressure: up to 1500 lbf/in2, 1500 lbf/in2 to 2500 lbf/in2, and 2500 lbf/in2 to 5000 lbf/in2. The joint comprises freely fitting flanges screwed on to pipe with a joint ring between ends of pipes themselves.

1.1.1 This part covers steel pipes and flange joints for hydraulic purposes employing working fluids such as water and oil in sizes from in to 5½ in outside diameter, suitable for the following design pressures: up to and including 1 500 lbf/in2 above 1 500 lbf/in2 up to and including 2 500 lbf/in2 above 2 500 lbf/in2 up to and including 5 000 lbf/in2. The joint comprises freely fitting flanges screwed on to the pipe with a joint ring between the ends of the pipes themselves.
