Details requirements for vitreous enamel coatings applied to panels intended to be used for the construction of storage tanks to be used for general industrial and municipal treatment liquids. The coatings and their application should not be confused with glass coated reaction vessels manufactured and used by the chemical industry, coated with glass on the inside surfaces only and designed for both high temperature and high pressure. Applies to the vitreous enamelling elements of the manufacturing process.
