This British Standard specifies requirements for saddle trees made from synthetic materials for saddles for general use (jumping, showing, hacking, dressage and similar activities) but excludes saddle trees for use with saddles for racing and side saddle.
NOTE BS 6635 specifies requirements for saddle trees made from wood.
