Bibliography

This standard is aimed at service providers delivering door supervision to licensed premises and events and for those licensed premises and events that employ door supervisors directly. It is a code of practice on the organization, staffing (including training), operation and management of such a service provider. This revision has been prepared to reflect changes in UK legislation introduced through the implementation of the Private Security Industry Act 2001, which requires that door supervisors be licensed. It also expands on the risk assessment of a clients licensed premises or event and includes an example of an individual service providers code of practice for issuing to new door supervisors.
