This part of BS7976 specifies a method of calibration of the pendulum tester specified in BS7976‑1. It is applicable for all uses of the pendulum tester.
This standard does not apply to the specific procedures for road and airfield surfaces in BSEN13036‑4, or to the use of the pendulum test as described in current product standards.
