    Gives complementary guidance to BS EN 806 and also guide to the design, installation, alteration, testing, operation and maintenance of services supplying water for domestic use within buildings and their curtilages.

    This British Standard provides complementary guidance to BSEN806. It is a guide to the design, installation, alteration, testing, operation and maintenance of services supplying water for domestic use within buildings and their curtilages. BSEN806 does not cover underground pipework, but this British Standard gives guidance on underground pipework within the curtilage of a building. This British Standard does not cover: the detailed methods of chemical treatment and maintenance of water distribution systems; workmanship; or space heating systems. NOTE AnnexA gives examples of pumped systems. AnnexB provides guidance on the calculation of hot water storage systems, while AnnexC provides calculations for pipe sizing.
