Abstract - (Show below) - (Hide below)

Tries to establish the characteristics of fuses or parts of fuses (fuse carrier, fuse base and fuse base) in such a manner that they can be replaced by other fuses or parts of fuses having the same characteristics as long as they are interchangeable in as much as their dimensions are concerned. Applies to fuses incorporating enclosed current limiting fuse links with minimum 6 kA rated breaking capacities, meant to protect power frequency a.c. circuits of maximum 1000 V nominal voltages or d.c. circuits of 1500 V maximum nominal voltages.
