This British Standard gives details of test requirements and other general information relating to rigid waveguide tubing of assessed quality of the following types:
- Ordinary rectangular waveguide.
- Rectangular waveguide with circular outside cross section.
- Medium flat waveguide.
- Flat rectangular waveguide.
- Circular waveguide.
- Ridged waveguide.
- Square waveguide.
It is intended to be read in conjunction with BS 9000 and with the relevant detail specifications which give the dimensions, ratings and test requirements for specific types.
Rules governing the contents and presentation of the detail specifications, for use by BSI technical panels or parts manufacturers, are given in Section 2 and the appendices to this standard.
