    This British Standard specifies composition for dried and undried vacuum salt, including dendritic and granular salt, as supplied by manufacturers for food use. The standard also includes requirements for the information to be provided with each consignment.

    Guidance on the packaging and storage of bulk salt is given in Appendix A.
