This draft establishes a method for determining the liability of coated materials to deform plastically at high road temperatures under pressures similar to those experienced on the road. Applies to any bituminous wearing course material laid at a thickness of between 35 mm and 50 mm. May be necessary to determine the wheel tracking rate of laboratory prepared mixtures. Covers definitions, apparatus, sampling, preparing the sample for test, test procedure, calculation and expression of results and test report.
