This Draft recommends additional features, over and above those specified in BS 5655 : Part 1 and Part 2, which could with advantage be incorporated into lifts installed in public buildings and public areas. Recommends suitable performance criteria without reference to methods of achieving them. Not relevant to observation lifts.
