Gives test procedures for establishing the structural properties of prefabricated heavy duty support towers having three or four legs and their component parts when acted on by vertical loading only or combinations of vertical and horizontal load. These tests can be used for initial assessment of novel designs, for reassessment of existing designs, and for guidance on production standards. The mechanical testing of materials is described.
