This European Standard specifies safety requirements and the corresponding test methods for infant swings intended for children up to a weight of 9kg or unable to sit up unaided.
If an infant swing has several functions or can be converted into another function, the relevant European Standards apply to it.
Swings falling under the scope of EN71‑8 are excluded from the scope of this European Standard.
